I have been drinking the pregnancy tea and raspberry leaf daily for months now 3 times a day of each. I haven’t taken a pregnancy test yet, but have definitely noticed some serious signs and I’m 5 days late (I know the suspense is no joke at this point, but we want to be sure it’s not too early). For the last week I’ve been only drinking the pregnancy tea, is it okay to drink this tea very early in pregnancy? I know it has red raspberry leaf in it so want to be careful since that tea is recommended starting the second trimester. What other teas do you recommend for the first trimester?

Thanks so much for your help!

I didn't experience cramping with the tea at all, and in fact my midwives always told me to start it in the second trimester and keep it going– but I obviously wasn't pregnant with multiples so not sure!]]> In reply to Chelsea.

I am currently pregnant with twins and have read conflicting info about using RRL tea with multiples, because of the possibility of it “causing preterm labor”. I’m 32 weeks along and just had my first cup. Did you experience cramping while using it? I will definitely consult my doctor, but I am really trying for a natural birth and want to reap the benefits of this stuff! Thank you!

I’ve been reading everywhere that you can’t have tea when you’re pregnant and I was in utter disbelief. I’m literally about to leave my house to go get this pregnancy tea right now! Thank you <3

I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve loved your blog. It’s my little “me time ” every afternoon after a finish homeschooling 4 kiddos all day. Every day I just have to go check to see if there’s anything new up yet! (Silly, huh?) Blessings to you as you await your new little one!
(Also, on a side note….can I ask where I would find a similar dining table and chairs you’re using here? I’m totally
smitten 🙂

No hopefully I will not need to be induced. With a Home Birth you are able to go safely until 42 weeks pregnant, and I am currently 38.5 weeks. Fingers crossed he comes soon! Yep, kitchen up tomorrow! :)]]> In reply to Alessan.

Yes I'm officially full term now, but I actually have gained exactly the same amount of weight (20 lbs) with both babies! It must just be what my body does with pregnancy. I was definitely more toned last time though– no gym time with a toddler around unfortunately :(]]> In reply to Courtney.

Hmmm, interesting! I actually hopped on the phone with two of Traditional Medicinals herbalists in preparation for this post, and they definitely do not say that drinking Raspberry Leaf tea keeps labor from occurring, in fact, it's been known to shorten the duration of labor and keep the uterus healthy for pushing etc! My midwives with both babies have also told me to continue use of the tea until I deliver. Of course with anything, it's every woman's call on what they feel comfortable with! (though I did deliver my daughter two weeks early last time and was drinking this tea up until the bitter end!) xx EAM]]> In reply to Danielle.
