i get sad at mother’s day, i must admit. mom to 2 really successful and smart sons, who have families of their own. they make a big deal for their wives, who are the moms to their kids. i’m grateful that they are such good husbands and daddies, but miss the times we use to share. (no daughters, only sons. train Major well! 🙂

I keep mine in a box as well, and I always think it’s amazing how we think we will always remember what’s written inside, but I go through and reread them from time to time and realize that I had totally forgotten lots of the special messages. Just more reminders of why it’s so important to keep special correspondence. 🙂

These are gorgeous! I have always loved stationary and even used to hand make similar cards for special events, but now I’m a mom and ain’t nobody got time for that! Ha ha ? I also couldn’t agree more with your comment on the most meaningful compliments are those regarding your role as a mother, the simple phrase ‘You’re a great mom’ seriously always makes me so happy I cry! (And it makes my childless friends very uncomfortable lol) Some day they’ll get it;)
