My little sanctuary finally got the glow-up she deserved! When we first moved into our new home, almost two years ago, my closet was the last thing on my list to decorate. I was, and am, so grateful to have a great walk-in space for my clothes, shoes, and accessories, but I wasn’t prioritizing its design at all. It was enough to have it functional, and relatively organized. Then, about 4 months ago, I organized and decorated Ian’s closet for him as a little surprise. I did it for under $200 and spent about 4 hours total on the organization, decor, and sorting. He LOVED it, and I watched him totally change how he dressed himself and interacted with the space immediately. It inspired him! It made me realize that I was long overdue for a closet overhaul myself…and my wheels started turning for how to design it!
Wow, what an inspiring closet glow-up! Love seeing functional spaces become beautiful too. That “inspired him” moment is so relatable! Think I’ll tackle my own neglected closet next, maybe with a Snow Rider theme. It’s amazing what a refreshed space can do.
