My daughter sucked her thumb and has been to the orthodonist three times already at age 6! He suggested the Thumb Guard and it worked wonders. She stopped sucking her thumb within 2 weeks. She was 5.5 when we gave it to her. Much better option then the plate.
]]>ME TOO!!! haha
]]>My daughter has the metal “cage” but she is eight. She was a long-time pacifier-user and the dentist also thinks used her tongue to push her teeth forward. Obviously you should do whatever you and your dentist decide is best, but I will say that the cage/plate is a pain and very uncomfortable and food is constantly trapped it in and I’m not convinced it’s doing much.. My daughter also just got braces on (early intervention these days) and although the braces hurt, she is begging to get that cage out of her mouth!
]]>Hi! I actually threw out the packaging, but I went to target and found them in the hair section. I like to go someplace where there are tons of options so I can get a good selection!
