Children can share a room at any age. We transitioned our youngest out of the crib first and then moved them in together in a bunk bed. My other concern was the maturity of my oldest in climbing a ladder and feeling confident that my youngest wouldn't be playing on the ladder. My children were probably 6 and 3. Trying to decide if my daughter (just turned 4) and my son (just turned 2) can share. I haven’t transitioned him out of the crib yet, though, so I’m worried it’s too early (or maybe there’s a chance it’s the perfect time, because my daughter might keep him in line!).
