It’s the ultimate comfort food! My other fave is Pepperidge Farm’s French Bread Pizzas. When I am having a bad day, that’s my g0-to.

My grandparents always had them at their house when we would visit.

Okay, a couple of others – worms and dirt (Oreo pudding with Oreo crust and the gummy worms!) and Flipz chocolate covered pretzels!

Pillsbury ready to bake holiday cookies make me SO nostalgic- something my parents were also not very keen on growing up so they were a rare special treat lol but I’ve decided to make them part of my holiday traditions as an adult and it brings me so much joy!

Also Betty Crocker butter & herb fakey mashed potatoes – tastes like home to me <3

They were like gold, and we would trade anything for a cup noodles! We would have our parents bring them on visiting day in bulk to stock up. They were especially good on rainy days inside the bunk. Memories!

Old fashioned oatmeal.
Italian ice. Strawberry shortcake ice cream.
Cherry red jello cups w/ a dollop of whip cream.
Reminds me of my childhood in NYC.

I don’t know that I have any internationally recognizable ones lol. But my favorite cereal was something like cocoa puffs and the cinnamon crunch – still love them! Cheese puffs are also one of the salty snacks of choice then and now. Oh and this breakfast dish that is like a sweet grits with sour cherry jelly on top – sounds weird but it’s so comforting and now I can get the instant version from the supermarket, yay!

It totally got me thinking about nostalgic foods. The watermelon roll reminds me of my grandmother because my uncle would always buy it for birthday parties. I also LOVE that frozen coconut cake- so good. I grew up with my mom and aunt having weekly snack nights. It was a highlight of the week for me and so many of the snacks that we would have are so nostalgic for me now- Fritos barbeque twists, mini hot dogs, bagel pizza bites, the frozen coconut cake, glzed croissants. Yum!
