I’ll be turning 40 next month and I’m dreading it, regretting all the things I didnt do or never got to complete. Feeling so sad about saying goodbye to my youth and trying to accept that my face will change – thinking of this always makes my chest hurt and stomach swirl.
So thank you for reminding me of all the good I do have, and that everything I’ve been through/sacrificed was worth this life.

It’s s privilege that’s denied to so many. I live in a city where 14-20 year olds, are dying at an alarming rate. It’s sad. So I woke up feeling grateful & thankful for God seeing me through so many ups & downs. Lord knows there were times where I felt absolutely broken but now I realize how resilient I am. I’m currently working on healing & no longer being in survival mode but slowing down to travel & just enjoy life more. I just feel very blessed 💜

When I turned 40, my divorce was Finalized and that’s when I started to focus on me and boy did I have fun! I always say the 40’s were my best years, especially sexually did I mention I had fun.🤩 I was raising my children all on my own and I started a new career. and the children went through hell and it wasn’t easy.
