I especially love the idea of the “Stuffed Animal Hospital”—it sounds like a great way to spark creativity and empathy. Ahhh, we (me and my two littles) have been going nuts in the Midwest lately with being trapped indoors so it is always so great to get ideas to break us out of our rut.
Some of our go-to’s are:
-spray whipped cream on the table, strip shirts off and have at it (similar to shaving cream fun!)
-decorate empty paper towel rolls–break out the Elmer’s glue, sparkles, jewels, etc….and then play pirates or other games with them once they’ve dried
-hide & seek
-playing race car where each child gets in an empty laundry basket and we take turns pushing them around the house [let me tell you this is a great leg/booty workout for mama 😉 ]

I love singing and dancing with my kids on snowy days! Have a karaoke party and “perform” for your stuffed animal friends, and get out pots and pans and play along to your favorite songs. ( note- plastic and wood are easier on your ears than metal.) Put on some of your faves to dance to and watch your kids come up with the coolest moves and get some of their stuck indoors sillies out! Then make a tent with some sheets , curl up with a fuzzy blanket and sing a lullaby or 3 to your animal friends, baby sister, etc. Btw Music Together has a free app called Hello Everybody with a built in karaoke feature and great songs for kids that adults will enjoy as well.]]> In reply to Cara.

They have such fun ideas! Our favorites lately has been hiding plastic animals in water beads and he had to find them. We also hid the letters to his name all over the house and have him find and match those to his name written on paper or a chalkboard. My kid is a sucker for finding anything hidden!
